Skin Cancer

Head and neck cancer surgeons treat skin cancer when there is deep invasion into surrounding tissues including areas around the ear, nose and eye. More complex surgery is also required when there is a spread to lymph nodes, presenting with lumps in the neck or invasion along major nerves in the head and neck region.

Treatment for skin cancer includes surgery, topical medications, radiation therapy and chemotherapy with an increasing use of immunotherapy medications in more advanced cases.
