Hay fever, also known as Allergic Rhinitis arises from inflammation caused by certain environmental factors. These include seasonal triggers such as grasses, pollens, or year-round causes including animal fur and dust mite. It can cause sneezing, a blocked and runny nose, itching and watery eyes. Up to 20% of the Australian population will suffer from some form of allergic rhinitis.
