Vestibular Rehabilitation
The vestibular system helps the body to maintain its balance by providing the brain with information about head position, motion, and spatial orientation. It’s located in the inner ear in the labyrinth. The major symptoms of vestibular disorders can include imbalance, loss of equilibrium.
Dysfunction of the vestibular system is common and can be as a result of a number of conditions including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, Meniere’s Disease, vestibular migraine (dizzy migraine), and vestibular neuronitis.
