Lucy’s transition to Speech Pathology was a natural progression after working as an actor for several years post-graduation from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2003. A common thread between these careers was working with the voice and after attaining her Masters of Speech Pathology at the Sydney of University in 2011, including completing honours research on professional voice users, she uses her nuanced skills to work in this field.

Lucy has worked in acute and rehabilitation hospital settings across New South Wales and Victoria and currently enjoys the balance of working in both the public and private clinic settings. They provide invaluable opportunities for ongoing learning and reflection on how we can improve patient care in this complex but wonderful world of voice.
