Treatment for laryngeal cancer depends on the extent of the tumour and whether it has spread to the lymph nodes or elsewhere in your body. If your cancer is considered early stage, treatments include tumour removal with a laser or radiotherapy. More advanced tumours are managed with a combination of treatments. These include chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery in the form of partial or total laryngectomy.
