About Amanda
After graduating from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Richards completed her laryngology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Being part of a dynamic clinical and research team dedicated to voice and breathing reinforced her desire to provide the same level of clinical excellence. Along with her laryngology expertise, Dr Richards has fellowship training in surgical oncology from St George’s NHS London, and integrates this experience into her voice practice by providing minimally invasive and voice preserving laryngeal cancer treatment.
Dr Richards is a clinical researcher and committed member of the Australian Voice community, serving as the Vice President of the Laryngology Society of Australasia and past President of the Australian Voice Association. She is the lead surgeon at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Voice Clinic and the Neurolaryngology clinic.
