Recurrent Tonsillitis

Recurrent tonsillitis is when you encounter several episodes of tonsillitis in a year. When you have this form of chronic tonsillitis with more than three episodes in a year you should discuss with your doctor to determine if you are suffering from recurrent tonsillitis. This form of chronic tonsillitis occurs mainly due to microorganisms that have developed antibiotic resistance due to past infections. The condition may also have a genetic background.
